I just got back on the blogging tip after a revelation of sorts about what I want to be when I grow up (lol). So I decided to join different blogging networks and BlogHer was the first one I joined. And I was excited, giddy...trying to figure out the site and how it works and what it'll do for me and my new goal. Then today I got an email that detailed exactly what I needed: NaBloPoMo.
One reason why I was having issues with the blog was because I was kind of running out of ideas and Decembers NaBloPoMo is the best jump starter and ego booster I could get. Since they have a list of prompts for each day (with the weekends being a free writing post) I can get started on some posts ahead of time and edit as I go along or I can plan on the day I want to write for the day it's due or get two posts in per day. I'm pretty geeked.

I'm finishing up my NaBloPoMo challenge for November. I have to admit there were some days that I was cutting it close about posting, but I'm glad that I've followed through. It's definitely made me stronger as a blogger and writer. Can't wait to see if I can make through December!
ReplyDeleteHey YUMMommy...I hope that I have the stamina to finish...and I have to say that the prompts are the only things that are going to get me thru this month. I don't know WHAT possessed me to do this during the holiday season but you know what...if not now when?
DeleteAnd I do want to become a better writer and blogger...I used to write so much and I haven't been able to do it in so long...this is going to be fun and hopefully therapeutic as well.
I'm glad that you made it thru November and I am going to have to see what you did to keep you sane thru this entire process lol...good luck next month! It's on lol
